Terms and Conditions

Cancellation & Refunds

• We ask that all Teams commit to the whole season. (Summer & Winter League).

• If you need to cancel a fixture you must notify your league coordinator immediately, if they can arrange another match in place of yours you will be issued a refund, if a match cannot be arranged in time you will be required to pay your match fee.

• If your team cancels the game, we will endeavour to rearrange the fixture, if this is not possible you will forfeit the game and the opposition will be awarded the full points.

• Each player is required to become a member of My Netball Ltd to play in league.

 

Match Fees

• Match fees are £35, of which £25 must be paid by standing order to the nominated bank account at least one working day prior to match. £10 must then be paid directly to your umpire at the start of each match.

Match Rules

• Matches are a total of 40 minutes long, the games consist of 4 x 10-minute quarters. It is essential that you ensure your team is on court at the allocated time to start your match. Any delays may result in deduction of points, this is to ensure all scheduled matches are played.

• Teams must play 4 core players every match.

• Teams can play with a minimum of 5 players.

• Matches will be umpired by two umpires.

• Matches are played in line with England Netball rules, although it is a fun league there are still certain rules to ensure your safety. Before you get on court, please make sure your team is ready to be inspected by the umpire.

• Jewellery is to be removed.

• Nails are to be cut short or gloves must be worn if nails or long.

• The umpire has the final decision on the above aspects if they feel there is a risk of safety to players.

• Suitable footwear must be worn no fashion pumps.

• Long hair must be tied back.

• All players must be 13 year or over.

Match points

WIN = 5 Points

DRAW = 3 Points

Within 5 Goals of winning score = 2 Points

Within half of winning score = 1 Point.

 

Code of Conduct

• Always adhere to the rules of the game.

• Be respectful to the umpire at all times, failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave the premises.

• Do not use foul or aggressive language.

• Retain control over your emotions, keep respectful at all times and do not engage in conflict or volatile behaviour.

• Be kind.
